The University Center for Ambulatory Surgery is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for an exciting full-time opportunity. This position is a vital part of the office team that cares for patients. The position works closely with the physicians, other clinical staff, and front office staff. The qualified candidate should be comfortable in a clinical care setting, well versed in medical terminology, friendly, dependable and focused on providing quality healthcare to patients.
The Medical Assistant will assist the providers with many aspects of patient care, including triaging patients, prepare patients for examination, process lab specimens, phlebotomy; collection, communication, and documentation of accurate patient information, maintain medical records according to regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures and ensure efficient, effective and safe patient care.
Required ExperienceGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
