Sovereign Medical Group is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for an exciting full-time opportunity. This position is a vital part of the office team that cares for patients, under the direction of the physician. The position works closely with the physicians, other clinical staff, and front office staff. The qualified candidate should be comfortable in an medical office and clinical care setting, well versed in medical terminology, friendly, dependable, and focused on providing quality healthcare to patients. The Medical Assistant will assist the providers with many aspects of patient care, including triaging patients, prepare patients for examination, assist the providers with minor surgical procedures, process lab specimens, phlebotomy, communication, and documentation of accurate patient information, maintain medical records according to regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures and ensure efficient, effective, and safe patient care.

Required Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Prior EMR experience
• Prior Medical Office/Reception experience
