A Cosmetologist is responsible for working with clients to help achieve desired makeup looks, hairstyles and nail designs.
We are seeking Cosmetologists to join our team of professionals to provide best in class services to Old Edwards' guests, brides, and members. Our salon is an integral component to Old Edwards Inn & Spa. If you have values of service, honesty, integrity, a passion for what you do, and thrive on helping others we encourage you to apply for the position of cosmetology.
Responsibilities
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Performing consultations to understand client wants and needs
- Work directly with clients, using their expertise to create designs and looks
- Provide full range of services offered within the Salon which includes: coloring, cutting, designing, and washing hair
- Advising clients on suitable retail products based on preferences and needs
- Cutting, cleaning, grooming, and painting nails
- Maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean working environment
- Monitoring stock levels in the Salon
- North Carolina Cosmetologist License Required.
- Professional attitude toward clients and colleagues
- Experience is high end salon preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work to consistently high standards
- Must be a team player
- Must be willing to learn new techniques
- Creative, with an interest in fashion and trends
- Must be available for work during weekends and occasionally on Holidays
