Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic engineering direction to cross-functional teams, identifying and implementing value engineering opportunities.
• Develop and drive the value engineering strategy, collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and operations to achieve cost reduction goals.
• Own and track the costed Bill of Materials (BoM) for current and future programs, ensuring cost targets are met.
• Create and maintain master schedules for cost reduction programs, closely monitoring progress and driving execution.
• Lead the vehicle product development process, working closely with the program management, leadership, industrial design, engineering, and supply chain teams.
• Oversee the definition, execution, and changes to product features, providing updates in regular program reviews.
• Ensure comprehensive capture of performance goals, requirements decomposition, architecture definition, and successful testing and validation.
• Prepare for mass production and service phases of the product lifecycle.
• Implement best-in-class processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Identify and proactively manage key risks, quality issues, and priorities, developing mitigation strategies, and driving timely resolutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of industry experience, preferably in the automotive domain.
• 5 years of experience in Program Management or Product Development roles.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and eager to embrace new challenges and learn continuously.
• Familiarity with systems engineering and project management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheets.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Education: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field.
