Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the tasks of our team responsible for the setup, installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment. This role also involves fabricating metal parts and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team working on the electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Assist team members in diagnosing issues with machinery and equipment to ensure swift resolution.
- Oversee the dismantling, assembly, and installation of industrial machinery.
- Manage inventory and requisition of spare parts to ensure the availability of necessary components.
- Modify and update programming for robots and related equipment, including robot controllers and programmable controllers.
- Review production schedules and estimate the required worker hours to complete assignments efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, such as Lock Out/Tag Out, welding safety, and electrical safety, by providing proper training and enforcing safety rules. Conduct monthly safety training sessions on various topics.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders, assigning tasks to workers accordingly.
- Adjust work procedures to align with production schedules and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a Maintenance department in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
