JOB OPENING

Job Title: Truck Wash Assistant Manager 1st Shift

Monday -Friday 7am-2pm

Every other Saturday 7am-2pm

25-45 hours per week depending on work load

Reports to: Adam Groh (Operations Manager)

Basic Function:

Responsible for all aspects of the truck wash. Supervises the activities of the truck wash team members while washing and performing minor repairs on equipment/facilities.

Responsibilities:

· Assist General manager with enforcing company policies and procedures.

· Responsible for operating the cleaning equipment in a safe and productive manner.

· Meets and greets customers; Thanks customers upon departure.

· Determines type and extent of service needed or desired while educating customers on those services.

· Pays attention to quality while driving efficiencies for more through truck wash.

· Uses the proper safety equipment as required for the specific job.

· Selects the proper cleaning agents and cleaning technique to complete each wash as efficiently as possible.

· Suggest service options that meets customer’s needs and emphasizes selling points of service such as quality and value.

· Arrives on-time for work and meetings.

· Communicates with the General Manager on any problems encountered at the truck wash.

· Completes all daily paperwork accurately and legibly.

· Keeps truck wash area and facilities clean.

· Reports low levels of material and supplies to designated personnel.

· Turns daily paperwork into the Office Manager.

· Responsible for equipment repairs and replacement.

· Ability to cashier when needed to include preparing and scanning invoices.

· Account for all funds received on scheduled shift.

· Trains new employees.

· Performs other duties assigned or requested.

Job Qualifications

· Minimum Experience: 2 Year General Labor (construction, cleaning, or other service related labor).

· Minimum 2 years management experience.

· Mechanically inclined ( Plumbing , electrical, pumps, small motor)

· Reliable transportation to and from work.

Skills:

· Must perform general physical activities and be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

· Must possess basic knowledge of the language and terminologies used in this occupation

· Must possess the ability to receive and follow directions both verbally and written.

· Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.

· Must possess basic computer skills

· Must possess the ability to perform simple repairs on equipment.

· Must possess the ability to work well with others in a team environment.

· Have the ability to provide performance reviews to include disciplinary actions.

Work Environment:

· Work in all weather conditions in the outdoors and indoors, hot or cold.

· Ability to climb up and down ladders is a must.

Departmental Relationship:

· The Manager works closely with the team to include other managers.

· The Manager will communicate with the team and other managers as needed to follow business needs and efficiencies.

· The Manager will maintain a professional attitude with all members of the team and customers at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL A / CDL B (Preferred)
