Responsibilities:

• Maintain an organized and clean kitchen while providing meals to children in a timely manner.
• Be of help to teachers as they may need.
• Provide basic care and caregiving to children
• Be able to work with all ages of children
• Shuttle children safely and timely to school and summer activities.
• Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children
• Collaborate with other colleagues
• Preform general cleaning to the facility
• Adhere with health and safety standards as established by the health department and DHS. sources

Skills:

- First Aid: Possess knowledge of basic first aid procedures and be able to respond to emergencies

- Classroom: Ability to manage a classroom setting and facilitate learning experiences for children

- Caregiving: Provide attentive and compassionate care to meet the individual needs of each child

- Toddler Care: Experience working with toddlers, including assisting with potty training, feeding, and naptime routines

- Behavior Management: Utilize positive discipline techniques to guide children's behavior in a respectful manner

- Childhood Development: Understand the stages of child development and create opportunities for growth and learning

- Experience with Children: Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or babysitting setting

Pay: $11.00 - $12.50 per hour
