Job Description:
We are hiring a talented Data Analysis Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be working to access and connect to data, apply data management concepts, and apply UX/UI concepts to the creation of visualizations.
What You'll Be Doing:

• Work directly with the USSOUTHCOM Office of the Chief Data Officer to enhance and standardize data connection, collection, and visualization.
• Integrated data from multiple sources and structure that data to tell a coherent story.
• Communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
• Training on the Advana Platform will be provided to enable utilization of the associated toolsets to create, manage, and standardize visualizations across the command.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with query languages such as SQL (structured query language).
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, STATA SAS, SPSS).
• Experience applying User Interface and User experience (UX/UI) concepts to data display development.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline degree related to area of specialty
• 4 Years Experience managing organizational level data systems
• A US government Secret clearance

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
• Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and data management.
• Knowledge of data mining and data warehousing principles.
• Familiarity with the Booz Allen (BAH) developed ADVANA platform.

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
