MUST:
2 years' experience in fast paced medical office
Medical Call Center experience
Comfortable working call center and answering calls from various healthcare facilities
Responding to medical record requests and pre-op information
Experience processing referrals and prescriptions
Strong Scheduling experience
checking patients in and out
Experience triaging phone calls
Insurance verification experience
Ability to work in high volume setting
Strong EMR experience Athena experience a plus
Experience updating and entering information into EMR
Strong customer service support skills
High school diploma
DUTIES:
Answer phones
Schedules patients efficiently and accurately
Respond to phone calls from healthcare facilities and provide any needed documentation
Answer phones in a call center environment
Process referrals and prescriptions
Follow all documentation guidelines and requirements.
Reviews and update insurance eligibility and address verifications
Reviews and correct batch quality assurance errors
Adheres to all established scripts for greeting, closure, financial screening, etc
