General Manager

Specialized Recruiting Group is partnering with a popular dining establishment in Eugene for a dedicated General Manager! The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and an engaging personality, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere, fostering respectful and supportive team relationships. This role involves making strategic decisions to manage resources effectively, including food, facilities, and finances, while maintaining our commitment to quality and excellence.

We are seeking someone with:

• 3-5 years of restaurant experience with at least 1 year of restaurant management.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Customer service skills.
• Experience with prep work or line cooking.
• Shift management.
• Ordering and inventory management; maintaining appropriate food costs.
• Scheduling and labor management; maintaining appropriate labor percentage.
• HR and training experience.
• High energy and sense of urgency; ability to work fast and efficiently.
• Ability to effectively supervise crew, leaders, and assistant managers.
• Ability to model and demonstrate friendliness, respect, and clarity in communications with customers and staff.

Additional Requirements:

• Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs.
• Capability to perform store errands and attend virtual and in-person company and community meetings.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Calendars, etc.).
• Competence in counting, calculating, and balancing money.
• Versatility to fill in and work all positions in the store.
