Summary of Responsibilities :
- Supervise shift personnel to ensure smooth operation and maintain a safe working environment.
- Address employee questions and needs, enforce company policies, and act as a communication channel between management and employees.
- Assign machines and tasks based on workload, conduct employee training, and conduct regular evaluations.
- Hold shift meetings, maintain part quality standards, and address quality issues promptly.
- Monitor production quality, document process changes, and participate in Lean Process Activities (LPAs).
- Ensure productivity levels meet established standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Safely change molds, start up production, and perform basic machine troubleshooting and repairs.
- Assist in cleaning machinery, perform quality checks, and assume lead technician responsibilities as needed.
- Stay updated on supervision and injection molding techniques and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in injection molding, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Preferably experienced in a progression from Die Setter to Process Technician to Supervisor roles.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, balancing speed with attention to detail.
- Desired personality traits include fairness and firmness in leadership style.
