Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Lead Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about dentistry and patient care.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Perform dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Assist with patient assessment and medical documentation
- Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection
Travel to Longmont Required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assisting program preferred
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and dental office systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
