Job Title: Orthodontic Office Manager
We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a dental office, with a focus on orthodontics. As the Orthodontic Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the orthodontic office, including scheduling, billing, and patient care
- Oversee the hiring and training of new staff members
- Ensure that the office is fully staffed and that all team members are working efficiently
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure that the office runs smoothly
- Manage patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date
- Work with the orthodontist to develop treatment plans for patients
- Communicate with patients and their families to ensure that they understand their treatment options and are comfortable with the care they are receiving
- Manage the office budget and ensure that expenses are kept within budgetary constraints
- Ensure that the office is compliant with all regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a dental office, with a focus on orthodontics
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records
- Understanding of insurance billing and coding
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
