Within our manufacturing business, the role of Production Associate is to safely produce quality products for use by our customers. This role may require cross training on various production machines which we will provide. Our customers rely on Production Operators to produce high quality materials that meet their most demanding applications. Starting Pay $18 - $20 an hour dependent upon experience Do you have what it takes? Operate hydraulic presses Understand production logs and associated documentation as well as required material usage reporting Understand all functions of the machine, set-up, balancing, size changes and fine tuning of quality. Setup or change over the machine from a previous job to perform the requirements of a new job Safely palletize finished product, and clean work area, machines, and equipment using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a crowded environment Perform daily general housekeeping activities to keep the work area clean and organized Complete all work efficiently and timely as instructed by supervisor What qualifications do you need? High school diploma or GED is required Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing work environment preferred or training can be provided Prior forklift experience is preferred Basic mathematical and computer skills required Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 lbs Why work for Ideal?
