Responsibilities

Pay: $65000 - $78000 / year
- Onsite, work-from-home Fridays
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with a team of accountants, accounts payable, and regional office managers
- Examine daily sales summaries for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and correct any discrepancies in sales records.
- Accurately input backup data to create journal entries.
- Record bank expenses in the accounting system.
- Keep detailed logs of change orders.
- Reconcile any discrepancies found in the logs.
- Investigate and dispute chargebacks promptly, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Process customer refund requests efficiently.
- Maintain records of all refunds issued.
- Prepare and enter basic journal entries as required.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as scanning, printing, and uploading files.
- Support the accounting team with additional duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus
- 1 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- R365 software experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in basic accounting principles and software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
