• Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician in Applicable State
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Must have a high degree of customer service focus and problem-solving ability.
• Comprehensive computer knowledge and skills required.
• Strong organizational, customer service, and time management skills, ability to problem solve and prioritize.
• Math skills with an emphasis on calculations as well as analytical skills required. Basic medical records understanding desired.

• Responsible for the understanding and working knowledge of the pharmacy computer systems, including, but not limited to Framework, Frameworks ECM.
• Enter orders to include, but not limited to, new orders, refills, DC’s, STAT orders, controlled substance orders, admissions, discharges, room changes, OSS (emergency kit) billing/processing, leave of absence requests, and clarifications as permitted by the regulatory scope of technician practice.
• Assist with order triage in Frameworks ECM.
• Appropriately manage workflow and adjust as needed based on priority and daily assignments.
• As permitted by regulation, and under the supervision of the pharmacist, assist with follow-up, troubleshooting, problem solving, and clarifications.
• Assists with answering incoming calls including, but not limited to, assisting with customer questions/requests, directing customers to appropriate staff, and assisting facility staff with ordering (receiving orders as permitted by regulation i.e., refill requests, etc.).
• Works in collaboration with the Order Entry leadership to meet department goals and objectives.
• Answer the telephone to respond to customer needs and requests.
