Job Overview:
Responsibilities
The marina manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the marina, maintaining an efficient
and profitable business. Working alongside the marina team, they will accomplish maintaining a
high level of customer service with the team and customers. This role supports and
participates in corporate strategy meetings and initiatives while ensuring staffing levels are
maintained for safe and proper operation of the facility. The marina manager will ensure daily
dock and ground walks are being performed by identifying and documenting and maintenance or
safety issues. A successful marina manager will be energetic and action oriented, a strong leader,
able to build relationships and have a self-starter mentality.
· Hire, onboard and train marina employees, terminate employees as needed
· Manage and approve employee payroll and scheduling including timesheet management
. Manage inventory including ordering and stocking food and beverage supplies
· Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment for all employees
· Ensure all team members comply with company standards
. Implement creative strategies to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue
· Be on site during hours of operation including weekends, holidays, and emergencies
· Create and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability
· Contribute to the marketing strategy by providing ideas and suggestions
· Maintain company vessels and grounds
· Attend calls and meetings with owners and other management teams
· Participate in and manage sales, leasing, and contract management for all revenue streams
including but not limited to storage, retail, events, tours, rentals, and concession services
· Work with accounting and management to create and maintain accurate forecasts and budgets,
making operational adjustments to deliver profitability
. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
· Analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement recommendations
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality/tourism management or related field
- Excellent leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate your team
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory, schedules, and budgets
- Some mechanical knowledge for maintenance and repair tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Food and beverage management knowledge
- Ability to oversee operations and manage staff effectively
- Certifications in boating safety or marina management a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
