Job Summary:
Specright is looking to hire a Product Manager within our Product & Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and an innovative mindset for filling them. This person should be a highly skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a product, from conception to release. We're looking for a confident contributor who can work with cross-functional teams in the creation of products that improve customer experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage key areas of the Specright Platform, bringing features from concept to launch with measurable impact
  • Identify and Track key success metrics for the product
  • Suggest and justify product direction and specifications
  • Work with Customer Success & Sales to develop a keen understanding of customer needs
  • Work with Customer Success to identify repeatable configurations that can be added to core product
  • Gather and prepare detailed requirements and wireframes with a keen eye on user interface design and tradeoffs
  • Develop & maintain project plans to outline and track development activities for your product areas and coordinate activities, timelines and resources to meet delivery timelines
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning and, daily stand ups
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure the requirements are understood correctly and translate to deliverables smoothly
  • Developer & maintain the roadmap for the product areas you are responsible for, working closely with senior stakeholders across the company to ensure the vision aligns with the broader business objectives
  • Manage multiple initiatives at once
  • Collaborate with marketing team to communicate new releases and features and on branding of new features
  • Own product library of definitions and standard configurations
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering on product core updates and demo scenarios
  • Own process library to add standard configurations
  • When new features are added, work with marketing and sales enablement to update SOW templates
Qualifications
  • 4 years experience in Product Management, ideally for an Enterprise SaaS solution
  • Deep empathy for users. Enjoy getting in front of clients to understand their challenges and be able to design solutions and features to address their needs
  • Incredible attention to detail. Ability to communicate requirements succinctly and clearly to engineering with the help of wireframes or mockups
  • Strong analytical background to seek data driven rigor in decision-making
  • Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. Comfortable wearing multiple hats to get things done - whether it means recruiting clients for interviews, helping QA features or training the Customer Success and Sales teams for new feature launches
  • Experience building complex software systems and communicating technical design to users, client technical resources, and engineering
  • Understanding of professional software engineering practices & best practices
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Execution experience to juggle multiple projects at once
  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field

  • An entrepreneurial attitude to proactively take on projects and execute on them with little direction
  • Managing a technically complex solution to Fortune 1000 product manufacturers/ working with or for a company that designs and makes products for the marketplace
  • Success in an early-stage tech startup environment with Enterprise/ SaaS experience
