SALARY RANGE: $17.00 to $25.00 per hour

As a Lead, you'll be responsible for training and developing the your department; delegating work assignments and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Must have ability to effectively interact with all employees at all levels of the organization, company clients and company vendors.
What does the Lead do for SpecSys?
  • Ensures that departmental productivity targets are met to meet customer requirements
  • Promotes and enforces compliance of safety policies and procedures
  • Drives company vehicles between company locations picking or delivering product
  • Provides daily work direction to personnel
  • Approved employee time cards
  • Coordinates orders with management and purchasing department for shop supplies
  • Ensures QC processes and procedures are adhered to
  • Maintains accurate equipment maintenance and repair logs
  • Coordinates equipment repairs as needed
  • Conducts employee performance reviews and coaches employees
  • Hazardous Waste Management Training
  • Inventory Control
  • Waste Control
  • Provides training to personal
  • Maintains equipment
  • Transfers work orders to locations
What are we looking for in a quality candidate for Lead?
  • Has a detailed understanding of processes and shop capabilities
  • Can read and understand written information
  • Has a basic understanding of computer software, such as Word and Excel
  • Can identify problems and review information
  • Has 5 years of experience or degree
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Has the ability to be on their feet for 8 hours a day
  • OR any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance
