Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our Data Team within the Supply Chain Operations department. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing business processes and data related to various aspects of the supply chain, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute significantly to our organization's success by leveraging your analytical skills and supply chain expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing supply chain operations and processes, focusing on data-related aspects such as data quality, integration, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, logistics, manufacturing, sales) to understand their requirements and challenges, translating them into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop data-driven solutions that address supply chain inefficiencies, reduce costs, or improve performance.
- Support the development and implementation of new processes, systems, or data initiatives by providing business analysis input and participating in user acceptance testing.
- Create comprehensive documentation outlining business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain data management and provide regular reports to management on the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics and supply chain management; recommend innovative solutions to enhance our competitive advantage.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within a supply chain environment, with a focus on data-related projects.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, processes, and systems (e.g., ERP, transportation management, warehouse management).
- Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Project management experience and PMP certification is a plus.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
