SPECTRAFORCE is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Worcester, MA

Position Title- Financial Analyst
Duration: 6 months (Potential Extension)
Location/Site- Worcester MA 01605
Hybrid-On site 2 days a week
Purpose
  • The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the Day-to-day FP&A activities of the Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control organization. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role will support Finance activities primarily within the site.
Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day business activities which include tracking of operational spend, headcount and general accounting activities.
  • Assist with month-end processes for which include but not limited to creating schedules, reconciliations and assisting with journal entries.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the function to drive operational cost saving initiatives and provide value add insight.
  • Support Finance leadership with key business reporting cycles (Latest Best Estimate, Plan Update, Long Range Plan, and Annual Plan).
  • Develop and implement dashboards and reports required for business continuity.
  • Ad hoc support (creating reports and dashboards) for the cliebt's Biologics Research Drive Manufacturing, Engineering and Contracting business.
Qualifications
  • The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, possess strong analytical skills, manage multiple and time sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization.
  • The individual will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders. Ultimately a successful candidate will display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to problem solve and respond quickly to changing business needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Economics required.
  • Minimum 4 years related finance experience preferably within a large organization.
  • Strong Excel skills
