Summary
- This is a unique opportunity to join innovative and early stage development projects.
- This position will provide RD support for process improvement and method development.
- The Engineer scientist will partner with other RD engineers scientist both within the Tissue and Biotechnology Center of Excellence and across business units to improve the durability of our products.
- Independently perform experiments and tests based on protocols, analyze results, and write reports
- Provide support with instructions for sample preparation, data collection and other tasks.
- Manage chemical and equipment inventories
- Prepare documentation including lab notebook and PowerPoint presentation
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time.
- Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
- Good organizational skills for time management and documentation
- Effective communication
- Adaptability
- Associate or bachelors degree in engineering or science1 year of laboratory experience with biochemistry, chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering
- Prior experience using plate reader, microscope, or other instrumentation
