Key Responsibilities
- Read original copy or proofs to detect and mark grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors.
- Verify dimensions, spacing, and positioning of text and graphical elements for accuracy.
- Utilize standard proofreading symbols to mark errors and suggest corrections.
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to resolve any discrepancies and ensure content accuracy.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency across all documents.
- Level of experience – Associate minimum.
- Proficient in using standard proofreading symbols.
- Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
