Spectrum Dermatology of Seattle provides medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services all within one convenient location. Our Practice focuses on a high-quality patient experience with exceptional and customized care. As our Patient Care Coordinator, you will be one of the first to meet our patients, which makes your role a vital part of our practice. We strive to build personalized and long-term relationships which is directly tied to the success of your interactions. This position contributes to maintaining that focus by carrying out daily responsibilities with care, respect and personable encounters with our patients and fellow team members.
Patient Care Coordinator daily tasks will include:
· Complete patient registration
· Check patients in and out with care and kindness
· Answer phone calls and log patient communications into clinic EMR
· Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
· Schedule patient appointments
· Run payment transactions for patient balances and products
· Scan and upload documents into clinic EMR system
Desired qualifications:
· HIPAA certified/knowledgeable
· Strong communication skills
· Basic computer skills
· Basic medical terminology
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
· Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
· Medical reception experience 2 years (Preferred)
