Position Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our team at Naval Hospital Bremerton. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex laboratory tests and procedures with precision and accuracy
• Analyze and interpret test results, providing critical data to healthcare providers
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper function and calibration
• Adhere to strict quality control and quality assurance standards
• Document and report test results promptly and accurately
• Participate in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field
• Graduate from a medical technology program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), or an educational program acceptable to the American Medical Technologist (AMT)
• Current certification/registration by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or AMT
• At least one year of experience as a Medical Technologist
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
