Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Spectrum Kitchens' growth within the New England market. This role requires a highly motivated and adept professional with a substantial network in the local real estate development and general contracting industries. The ideal candidate will possess a proven record of sales achievements and an ability to nurture influential relationships and secure lucrative contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage existing networks and cultivate new relationships with key players in the real estate and construction sectors to strategically expand our market share.
  • Perform comprehensive market analysis to identify new opportunities and understand competitor strategies.
  • Design and implement robust sales strategies aligned with company goals, aimed at achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Directly engage with top-tier prospects to promote Spectrum Kitchens’ products, highlighting our commitment to quality and design excellence.
  • Manage all phases of the sales process from initial contact through contract execution, ensuring a seamless and positive client experience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure that client feedback influences ongoing product and service refinement.
  • Regularly report on sales results, market conditions, and client satisfaction to the senior management team, providing insightful analysis and action plans.
  • Represent Spectrum Kitchens at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, enhancing our brand recognition and networking with potential clients.

What You Can Expect:

  • Travel extensively across the region by car to meet prospective customers and explore new opportunities.
  • Initiate contact by phone and email with new prospective customers.
  • Proactively visit new prospective customers’ offices to establish initial business relations.
  • Receive robust support and resources from management aimed at helping you succeed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the construction, real estate, or related industries, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Extensive professional network within the New England real estate and construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the region.
  • Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
