Spectrum of Solutions is searching for compassionate full-time, MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to join our highly respected team in the Permian Basin (Midland and Odessa) area. In this position you will play an essential role in contributing to the maintenance and repairs for all Spectrum of Solution facilities and vehicles to ensure the safety of all staff and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Completes assigned vehicle and facility maintenance and repairs including but not limited to HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical in compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Assists with facility and vehicle inspections
- Provides back up on call support to ensure 24-hour coverage
- Assists with special projects as required
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in environmental services or related field preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license and related insurance
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA):
- Knowledge of facilities and maintenance principles, practices, and processes including Texas Life and Safety Code environmental regulation requirements
- Knowledge of safety principles and practices relating to facilities and vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Ability to adhere to established processes and procedures and follow instructions
- Basic knowledge repair and maintenance in areas including but not limited to automotive, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
