QUALITY ENGINEER
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Reports to: Lead Quality Engineer
Compensation: $65 - $80K
Responsibilities & Requirements of the QUALITY ENGINEER:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2 years of experience
- 5 years of experience considered in lieu of education
- Knowledge of AS9100 standards and auditing experience is highly preferred
- Ownership of quality documentation including specifications, inspections, testing, and customer details
- Work with customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met on both incoming and outgoing product
- Evaluate quality issues, develop corrective actions, and manage customer notifications
- Track non-conformances
- Participate in daily quality engineering and troubleshooting
- Work collaboratively with production teams to overcome quality issues and improve production processes to ensure high-quality standards
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
- High level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and root-cause analysis
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet U.S. Person status
