Our client, a governance software company, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support their HR division.

Job Details:

  • Title: Human Resources Business Partner
  • Type: Contract
  • Length: 6 months
  • Location: Hybrid in NW Washington DC
  • Rate: $35-43/hr, depending on experience
  • Background Check: Yes

Candidate profile and qualifications

  • Experience in – 5 years in HR with at least 2-3 years as an HRBP
    • Experience supporting business groups of 300 employees
    • Working with department heads/managers/leaders to discuss strategies
    • Experience with compensation/benefits, L&D, employee satisfaction
  • Proficient in – Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel experience
  • Soft Skills – professional, no task too small, team player, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Education – BA/BS required

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, & strategic development.
  • Build knowledge of best practices and regulatory changes in HR and employment law for business area and jurisdiction.
