The Community Engagement Program Manager duties consist of day-to-day management of the Carroll County Community Development Services (CDS)/Day Program. The Manager will provide direct supervision of Community Development Services (CDS)/Day Program staff; case management for Supported Individuals; have a working knowledge of Person-Centered Plans, MANDT procedures; program oversight; advocate for supported individuals to acquire identified services and supports; and create a safe and productive environment for supported individuals to grow and employees to achieve his/ her performance goals. The Manager will also manage the Carroll County Employment program. The Manager will provide placement services to local employers to match job seekers with potential employment opportunities to ensures that the individuals in Spectrum's CDS/Day programs have an opportunity to obtain paid work.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift 25 lbs
2. Must have a valid Driver's License with no more than 2 points.

Supervision:

Supervised by Director

Supervises: Direct Support Professionals.

Qualifications:

Education/ Experience BA or Associates degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field. Supervisory experience preferred. Minimum of three years' experience working with persons with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness required. High School equivalency required.

Computer Skills Must have basic computer skills and competency in Microsoft Word at a minimum.
