Job Summary
The Building Maintenance / Parts is responsible for the overall maintenance of the grounds and inventory of parts.
Hours and Wages
- Monday-Friday : 8 : 00AM-4 : 30PM
- Starting wage : $$ per hour, based on experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, ensuring machines and equipment are running efficiently
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots
- Operate power equipment to mow and upkeep lawns
- Spread salt in common areas during the winter
- Gather and remove litter around the grounds
- Diagnose heating and cooling problems and determine how to correct them
- Repair and clean warehouse tracks
- Replace light bulbs throughout the facility
- Manage the inventory of parts on hand for the facility
- Perform other related duties as necessary
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Mechanical inclination is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive parts
Education and Experience
- High school diploma required
- 1 year of maintenance experience is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and 100 pounds occasionally, with some overhead lifting required
- Full range of motion with no limits on grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, and walking
- Work environment requires time spent outdoors in changing weather elements as well as in a vehicle
