Temporary Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to assist the director of the health careers program with the marketing, recruitment, and coordination of the Pre-health Summer Program (PHSP). evaluation and assessment of programming and student outcomes of the PHSP and HCOPPP Scholars Program. The Graduate Program Assistant (PT) also serves as a liaison to other academic departments to obtain information on student recruitment, retention, and graduation of pre-health students within majors across campus.
Will work 20-30 hours per week based on availability of funding.

Temporary Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the director in the development of the summer program and academic year curricula
- Develop and implement assessments for the evaluation of curricula for designated initiatives and programs offered by the health careers program.
- Develop and implement assessments for the evaluation of student academic performance in preparation for graduate and professional school.
- Work with director to coordinate events and speakers for pre-professional students in academic year and summer scholars program.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, or health-related field and 1 year of job related-experience is required.
Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program.

Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and statistical software preferred.
