This position reports to the Director of the Counseling Center and provides solution- focused brief therapy services to students, provides personalized plans designed to help students meet their short-term personal goals, shares the 24-hour on-call coverage throughout the year, participates in psychoeducational and out-reach activities, programming, and planning that ensures the effective and efficient delivery of services to students.This position will also require the function of resource development, identification and updating of campus and community-based resources for clinical referrals, to support mental health service delivery and continuity of care. The ideal candidate will have the capabilities to operate consistently as a strong, yet flexible team member, with electronic mental health record skills, and to contribute to the construction of innovative techniques, strategies, and interventions, to support the behavioral health of students and to consult with members of the college community regarding behavioral health issues.
