We invite you to join our us as we prepare our students for life, learning, and citizenship.Duties and Responsibilities: - Supervising in-school suspensions- Be fully aware of student handbook and district policies- Providing academic tutoring to students who are performing at a basic academic level- Assist students in ensuring smooth and timely student transitions through the building; such as the bathroom and lunchrooms- Demonstrating effective communication and de-escalation skills with struggling students- Effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds- Responsible for documentation and record-keeping- Ability to redirect students back to their tasks and manage conflicts that may arise- Regularly reporting student progress to administration, teachers, and other school personnel- Set a positive example for students in terms of behavior and professional appearance- Supporting other building needs when no students are under suspension- Attending additional training and professional development as needed- Performing other related duties as assigned by the Principal or designee to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the school.
