I'm partnered with a growing engineering firm that is looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager for their Water Resources Department. This position will be based in Orlando, FL, but other locations may be available.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design municipal drainage systems, conduct hydraulic studies, and oversee pumping stations.
• Develop hydraulic and hydrologic models for drainage basins, stormwater collection systems, and water quality enhancements.
• Utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) tools for data analysis.
• Prepare comprehensive stormwater master plan reports and preliminary engineering documentation.
• Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of other professionals.
• Collaborate with municipal, county, and state clients through meetings and coordination efforts.
• Obtain necessary permits related to stormwater management.
• Provide construction engineering services for municipal, county, and state projects.
• Assist project engineers as required during project delivery.
• Take on additional roles within the company, participating in committees and special project teams.
• Manage larger and multidisciplinary projects.
• Lead project design teams.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Transportation Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Professional Engineer license in the State of Florida (or transfer from another state).
• Proficiency in ICPR3 or ICPR4 modeling.
• Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements related to stormwater design.
• Willingness to travel within the Baxter & Woodman service area (own transportation).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient with computers and highly organized.
