We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to support projects at a leading chemical manufacturing facility. This position will play a key role in managing various capital projects and ensuring successful execution from inception through completion. Nested Contract, flex schedule. W2, benefits & Holiday pay included.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage capital projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with company goals.
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency.
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and other third parties to ensure high-quality work and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing capital projects from initiation through execution.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with project management software, including Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing projects in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- PMP certification is a plus.
