Location: Sarasota, FL with hybrid flexibility after initial training (3 days in office, 2 days work from home) The position may require occasional travel to other locations and on-call availability for critical incidents.

MaxHealth is seeking a highly skilled Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations, which will be instrumental in shaping and executing our technology strategy. Reporting to the Vice President of IT and as a key member of the IT Leadership team, this position will oversee the delivery of reliable, secure, and efficient IT services.

This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to drive innovation and operational excellence in our IT infrastructure and operations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership : Lead and manage the IT infrastructure and operations team, responsible for engineering, design, planning, installation, and upgrades of enterprise-wide IT systems. Develop and implement strategic plans for infrastructure, cloud services, and operational efficiency.
• Cloud Infrastructure : Architect, design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions. Develop comprehensive cloud strategies, including migration, optimization, and security. Ensure seamless integration of Azure services with existing IT infrastructure including a technology stack consistent of Virtualization, Networking, Storage, Cloud-Native Applications, End-User Computing, Cloud Integration & Hybrid Cloud, Automation & Orchestration.
• Data Center Migrations : Oversee and drive data center migrations, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to project timelines and budgets. Manage all aspects of the migration process, from planning to execution.
• Cybersecurity : Contribute to the company's cybersecurity program by assessing risks, defining mitigation plans, and overseeing cybersecurity monitoring and incident response activities.
• Technology Road mapping: Maintain and evolve a technology roadmap that identifies opportunities for innovation and aligns technology use with business needs.
• Vendor Management : Manage relationships with key vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts to ensure optimal value and service levels. Oversee vendor performance and contract compliance.
• ITIL and ITSM Best Practices: Implement and refine ITIL frameworks and ITSM processes to enhance service delivery, incident management, and change management across the IT organization.
• Enterprise Architecture: Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that aligns IT infrastructure with business goals. Ensure that IT solutions are scalable, reliable, and integrated effectively across the organization. Lead the design of architecture solutions that balance business needs with technical capabilities.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of managers, engineers, systems administrators, and support analysts. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance, availability, and cost of IT services. Identify and implement opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
• Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership to provide updates on IT infrastructure performance, project status, and strategic initiatives. Maintain effective relationships across the organization.

Job Qualifications:

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Enterprise IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 8 years in a leadership role. Experience managing a team and overseeing complex Enterprise projects required.
• Technical Expertise : Extensive experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure, data center migrations, ITIL process framework, and enterprise IT operations. Familiarity with security technologies, network architecture, and enterprise storage solutions. Solid understanding of interoperability solutions and architecture middleware/APIs etc.
• Certifications : Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, VCP, MCSE, or similar are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years managing a team of direct reports is required
• Experience with information security controls in a HIPAA regulated environment is required.
