Trillium Construction is hiring for a Project Engineer in Roseland, NJ to work with the Construction Management team of a local design/build general contractor on commercial projects throughout the Northeast region.

Duties
-Reviewing design and bidding documents, evaluating contractor bids, and overseeing construction progress and scheduling
-Providing technical support to construction staff under the supervision of the Project Manager
-Assisting in the development of cost estimates, reviewing plans and other technical documents
-Answering questions regarding the scope and/or timing of the project
-Create, manage, and track RFI's from the field to the architect/engineer of record
-Monitoring costs and project progress
-Maintaining control of all project documentation
-Assist the project team with closeout of the project

Compensation:
-Salary - $100,000 - $120,000, depending on experience

Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or Assistant Project Manager on commercial ground-up construction projects, preferably with a GC
-Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office; experience with Autodesk is a plus!
-Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
-Ability to travel overnight for regional trips
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
