Who are we hiring? Reporting to the Senior Manager Production Finance, the Financial Analyst will assist in the preparation of development & production cost financials for budget, LRP, and estimate cycles. They will also coordinate paperwork and documentation related to Sphere Studios Productions.
What will you do?

• Assist in the preparation of production budgets, annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks for Sphere Studios
• Assist in the cashflow reporting process.
• Assist in the preparation of development & production cost financials for budget, LRP and estimate cycles.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly production cash flow schedules.
• Assist in show setup, including production bank accounts, production accounting systems, payroll, and production hubs.
• Coordinate paperwork and liaise with prep/post accountant to process accounts payable and payroll for projects during development, prep, and wrap.
• Collaborate to ensure all digital solutions are operational and that all appropriate documents are audited and archived.
• Coordinate documentation and response for various auditor requests, including 3rd party, financial, and SOX.
• Work with production to streamline and optimize production accounting operations.
• Ad hoc reports on various production related projects.
• Other various ad hoc assignments related to production and production finance/accounting.

What do you need to succeed?

• Minimum 2 years production accounting/finance analysis experience preferred. FP&A experience is a plus. Entertainment industry experience required.
• Strong communication skills are required to work independently with all levels of management to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Power Point are required.
• PSL , Smart Accounting, and Movie Magic Budgeting preferred. Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI a strong plus.

Pay Range
$65,000—$85,000 USD
