Spherion CT/RI/Western MA is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Cranston, RI
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with machines.
- Perform repairs on various types of machinery, including but not limited to CNC machines, conveyors, and production equipment.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of machines.
- Inspect machines regularly to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.
- Must have previous experience in machine troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work the 2nd shift and be available for overtime as needed.
