Spherion is recruiting a Senior Project Manager for our client in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.
Our client is a boutique full service architecture and interior design firm.
The Project Manager will:
● Meet with clients
● Manage external consultants (MEP, Structural, Civil, etc.) for document
coordination
● Construction Administration in the office and in the field – respond to RFIs and field
questions
● Review drawings and submittals and applications for payment
● Have Bidding and Construction Administration experience on public work (A MUST)
● Manage junior staff
Qualifications
● Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Architecture or Professional Degree in
Architecture (Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from accredited
college)
● Current / valid NJ Architectural License – or active path to licensure
● 10 years construction document experience
● Minimum of 5 years public sector production experience
● Proficient in AutoCad for schematic, design development and construction
document production
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Solid understanding of Federal, State and local codes including NJ Uniform
Construction Code and Rehabilitation Code
● Understanding of public bid project process
● Legally eligible to work in the United States with proficiency in the English language
● Must have reliable car and be able to drive to office and job sites when required
● Experience with various construction systems (masonry, steel, cavity wall,
rain-screen, etc.)
