The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will lead the company's day-to-day 3PL business operations (managing the company budget, ensuring operational compliance is followed, and addressing administrative issues).

Who you are:

  • An experienced 3PL Operations Manager who is hands-on with technology and has a lead by example attitude. You enjoy problem solving and have experience achieving P&L objectives through enhanced optimum labor and efficient resource costs.
  • Results driven and able to achieve maximum efficiency in both design and production while ensuring inventory and deliverables operate at levels which meet customers' needs.
  • Manage activities so that approved deliverables are completed on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives.
  • A leader that manages a team of supervisors and leads as well as other on-site staff, conduct walk-through's, training, mentoring and coaching as well as performance reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to manage and lead in a 3PL shared environment with multiple clients.
  • Manages Managers to ensure deliverables are picked, packaged, and shipped in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage the performance of the operation to meet and exceed client KPI standards.
  • Ability to manage operational efficiencies while meeting quality and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate re-occurring business reviews with clients to communicate operational KPI?s and promote partnerships.
  • Full P&L experience
  • Ensures standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained and that cost effective technology is used to maximize production.
  • Ensures fixed assets are preserved. Initiates recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements
  • Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Alerts management of cost and labor overrun. Recommends and implements solutions to problems related to same
  • Ensures deliverables are packaged and shipped according to needs, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Ensures managers and supervisors comply with company policies and administering practices in fair and equitable manner.
  • Manages budget and controls expenses effectively.
  • Hires, trains, develops, and appraises staff effectively. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Logistics or related discipline
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Pharmaceutical experience is a MUST - non-negotiable
  • 4-7 years Management Experience in Supply Chain/3PL
