Responsible for providing support to the Warehouse / Shipping Team Lead on a daily basis for shipping / receiving of goods by moving finished goods from the production line, placing finished goods on a trailer and / or unloading finished goods from the trailer and staging in the warehouse.

Responsibilities :
Not all functions are performed by all material handlers. Functions depend on warehouse location, but all Material Handlers must be able to perform all functions due to the team concept of the warehouse
Responsible for loading and unloading trucks and for inspecting the trailers that they are loading the product into.
Responsible for moving finishing goods from production line and staging on a trailer for shipment to outside warehouse.
Responsible for inspecting all product being unloaded from a truck for damage, that appropriate paperwork is completed, and that all documents associated with the shipment have been turned in for receiving purposes.
Assures inventory accuracy and records by correctly using the dcLINK system to scan in all finished goods, moves to new locations, remove from trailer product sent back by o / s warehouse;
and moving product to the two point of use locations.
Takes precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss, and reports any damage or lost product to Shipping / Warehouse Team Lead.
Responsible for housekeeping of dock area, upstairs warehouse, and racking systems.
Other duties as assigned
