Now hiring for Machine Operator. Spherion of Rhode Island currently has Machine Operator opportunities available to support our local, industry leading customer.
Our Machine Operator will be working a first shift with limited required OT. The Machine Operator will support our customers for setting up, operating, and maintaining the Autobagger equipment to ensure efficient production and packaging of products.

Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
Set up and prepare the Autobagger machine for operation according to production schedules.
Operate the Autobagger machine to package products in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to ensure smooth production flow.
Conduct regular quality checks and inspections on packaged products to maintain high standards.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and resolve operational issues.
Document production activities, including machine settings, production counts, and quality checks.
Working hours : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
Skills :
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
Forklift certification or experience is a plus.

Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a shipping clerk or similar role.
Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
