We are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced medical office setting. The ideal candidate should be proficient in managing a multi-line phone system, handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service. Experience in insurance verification is essential for this role, while proficiency in billing and coding would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately.
Schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations.
Maintain patient records and update information as necessary.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services and procedures.
Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed.
Ensure compliance with medical office policies and procedures.
Collaborate effectively with medical staff and other team members.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Receptionist in a busy medical office.
