Job Summary:
The Spine Team Texas Patient Service Associate (Physical Therapy-PT) is responsible for serving as a first point of contact for the PT clinic desk. This position requires a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Spine Team Texas. The Patient Service Associate (Physical Therapy-PT) will report directly to the Physical Therapy Operations Manager under the direction of the PT Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the Patient Service Associate (Physical Therapy-PT) to provide direct assistance to the Physical Therapy Operations Manager/PT Supervisor as needed. This position will include but not limited to scheduling, processing payments, checking in/out patients, assisting with referrals and authorizations, and any other clerical duties assigned. In addition, assisting therapists with patient care as needed. Position may be responsible for completing projects as assigned using PowerPoint, Word and/or Excel Microsoft programs
Customer Service

Employees must always speak in a kind, courteous, and professional manner when dealing with a patient/customer or co-worker. Employees are required to fulfill the Spine Team Texas mission of “Offering an Unparalleled Patient Experience!” All employees must possess good team work and a positive attitude while remaining professional at all times.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
The Patient Service Associate (Physical Therapy-PT) must be able to sit for long periods of time and work in a well-lit, air-conditioned office environment. Must be able to work under pressure and multitask well while maintaining great customer service.
