SpineSearch is seeking a board certified Physiatrist to join an outpatient musculo-skeletal practice on a part time basis. New grads encouraged to apply!

This position will be part-time with 8 hour days.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with physical disabilities or injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for maximizing recovery.
• Participate in case conferences, rounds, and other collaborative activities to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.

Qualifications:

• Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Valid NYS license
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in physiatry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting rehabilitation and independence.
