The objective of the Finance Assistant is to assist in developing a profitable F&I department. This is accomplished through the timely completion of paperwork, deal submission and through final funding. As well as, backup product presentations structured with all aftermarket options as necessary. Additionally, the Finance Assistant must follow all federal regulatory rules while representing the Spitzer name

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage customer financing needs from receiving application through deal submission, rehash, and approval or declination, to final funding
- Complete and organize paperwork of every deal from the start through funding and titling, on a complete, accurate, and timely basis. All deals must include the checklist, menu, disclosure and buyers order.
- Ensure the deal is turned into the business office the same day as delivery whenever possible. No later than 3 business days from the date of delivery.
- Protect the dealerships assets through accuracy and verification of all documentation
- Gain knowledge of and comply with all state, federal, franchise, and bank documentation regulations and requirements
- Responsible for representing only accurate, true, complete and correct information to the finance institution (Bank) for approvals.
- Support the sale of accessories whenever possible
- Create and maintain relationship and process with sales department that will ensure all vehicle sales, including cash deals, are turned over to the finance department
- Give top priority to the sale and delivery of new and used vehicles
- Other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships
- Strong Computer Skills
- Deal with local and national bankers and manufacturer representatives
- Understand tag and title laws; DMV
- The ability to handle stressful environments
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer software and supporting programs, Excel, Word, dealership management systems
- Strong communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
- Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
