Description

The Aftermarket Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for assisting customers with all aftermarket offerings. Responsible  for identifying, quoting and processing customer needs for replacement parts, materials, warranties, and all other aftermarket offerings related to their Spoc equipment. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Determine customer needs to offer the most appropriate product or service.
  • Due to machinery variances, must be able to research the machine build lists and other critical data available to assist customer. 
  • Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of products, services, pricing, promotions, procedures, and other important issues through management communications, meetings, and formal training.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the customer and/or improve productivity.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience in all customer contact situations; including maintaining a pleasant and professional tone and manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain an orderly work environment.
  • Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Skilled in multi-tasking; including the ability to be flexible and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Strong computer skills and PC Knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.)
  • Receive and fill telephone and email orders for parts, warranties, field service and repairs.
  • Read catalogs, drawings, or computer displays to determine replacement part stock numbers and price.
  • Process sales orders or sales contracts.
  • Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs.
  • Assist customers, such as responding to complaints and updating about back-orders.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Software Platform preferred
