Job Description: At Spokane EMDR Counseling, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated licensed counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide individual, couples, and family counseling to address mental health concerns, with a focus on trauma processing and healing using EMDR therapy. Collaborating with counselors, physicians, and nurses to plan and coordinate treatment is essential. Staying informed about current literature and completing required CE credits is expected. Conducting biopsychosocial assessments, modifying treatment plans, and monitoring client progress are key responsibilities. The successful candidate will also perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall well-being of our clients.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field

- Licensed in the state of Washington (LMHC, LICSW, LMHCA, LMFT or related license) and in good standing

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Computer literacy, as computer software is used

Desired Qualifications:

- EMDR trained or interested in being trained

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to give and receive feedback

- Knowledge of billing processes and insurance requirements is ideal but not required
